What If Arsenal Resign Jens Lehmann

Arsenal persuit for a goalkeeper yet to yield a result. With 2 lousy goalkeeper as number 1 and 2 between the stick, this is very worrying for the fans. Shopping for goalkeeper just never been easy as all teams will be reluctant to sell their first choice goalkeeper because they found it will be hard to find a new good replacement.

In my mind, before we can find a new goalkeeper why don't sign back Jens Lehmann. Actually I really like him. I do feel he is still reliable between the stick and I guranteed he will be way much better than Almunia and Fabianski.

I see him played against Barcelona last season, he still do very well. He does have better judgement of the game compare to Almunia and Fabianski. Maybe Arsenal didn't have to make him the first choice yet but I do feel he is a good addition to the squad.

During his times at Arsenal he have shown his ability and even help Arsenal to win the title without losing a single game. That just show he have the class. He do make mistake, but it just didn't as bad as the mistake that was made by Almunia and Fabianski. When we see Lehmann palm the ball to his own net and catch a back pass which cause Arsenal the game? I can say never. Even if we total up the mistake he made during his whole Arsenal carrer, it can't even surpass the mistake made by Almuia and Fabianski this season and that mean our current make to much mistake this season.

I just hope Arsene think what I think. The resigning of Sol Campbell seem to be a success, so why can't Arsene resign Lehmann.

When Will Barcelona Learn....

Rumors about cesc Fabregas transfer to Barcelona really a pain in my neck. All the news feed full of this story. I'm really getting sick of it already. To make thing worse, Fabregas state his intention to leave for Barcelona.


It seems that Arsenal just like a downline for Barcelona where we will sell our best player to them and Barcelona pay Arsenal money for Arsenal players. I don't mind how it was done, but my question is when will Barcelona learn not to buy anymore Arsenal players.

For all this while Barcelona keep on buying Arsenal players. It seem that they want to be as good as Arsenal. they cannot have a team like Arsenal so they opt to buy the whole Arsenal team. When will they learn that its not gonna work. There have been a lot of Gunners transfer to Barcelona. Even our greatest goal scorer TH14 become a flop at Barcelona. Not to mention the likes of Hleb, Overmars, Petit, Sylvinho. Only GVB have quite a decent time at Barcelona.

Will Fabregas be successful at Barcelona if he left Arsenal? I doubt it. It just not easy when at Arsenal you are the main man but when at Barcelona you just an ordinary player with no special treatment. If Fabregas becomes a flop at Barcelona, will they learn enough and stop persue anymore Arsenal player.

I just have one thing to say to all other club that have intention to buy any Arsenal players, Arsenal players cannot play elsewhere as good as they play at Arsenal. Just ask all the former Arsenal players.

Should Arsenal Keep Fabregas?

If we ask all the Arsenal Fans, the answer will be yes. But when Fabregas annouce publically he want to leave for Barcelona, should Arsenal keep him? The debate is always he is Arsenal best player last season and there is still more to offer from him. But will he play whole hearted for Arsenal next season?


For me, if he want to leave for Barcelona, maybe it is times Arsenal sell him and there is no better times than this. His price will be very high especially if he have a good world cup. But it all depend on Arsene if he willing to gamble on selling Fabregas and lose the captain or keep him and having a slack captain.

We have seen many player play their way out of Arsenal. When their transfer demand are rejected, they almost like didn't play at all. Its not like we haven't saw the example. Look at Adebayor & Henry, they are almost invisible during their final season. Even Vieira didn't have a good final season with Arsenal. If only Arsene sold them earlier, Arsenal will get 20M more from their transfer fee. But just because Arsene keep them, their performance drop and so are their price.

Many fans worried losing the player especially to potential rival. But the static show that, not many players leave Arsenal and have success like they had at Arsenal. They maybe win silverware, but their performances are nowhere near when they was still playing for Arsenal. Just look at Henry, Hleb, Vieira, Petit and many more.
So from my point of view, it seems that it is useless to keep the player if he wants to leave. I think it is better if the players are sold when their price are still high. Why keep an unhappy player and only to have a lousy performances from them. So if people ask me should Arsenal sell Fabregas, I will say why not if he really want to leave and get that 80M price tag for him and maybe we will get benefit from the sale.

Why 3rd not good enough for Arsenal?

Before the season start, Arsenal have been written off from qualified to Chapion League. Maybe a lot of Arsenal fans and players will accept the 4th spot and considered it as a good season if arsenal ever finish above 4th spot. But when the season end, we can see all of the fans not satistied. But why they didn't satisfied when in the beginning of the season they will even accept a 4th place finish?


For my point of view, the main reason Arsenal fans didn't satisfied is because how we compete during the course of the season. Dispite a promosing start, Arsenal really didn't give the massive challege for the title and cup. Arsenal challege the title just because other teams in the Premier League just poor even Man Utd and Chelsea not even to say Liverpool.

The most dissapointing part is arsenal defending and goalkeeping. Because of this, Arsenal have lost more points than they should be. Arsenal goalkeeper have been poor. They only match winning performance by Arsenal goalkeeper is when Vito Mannone single handedly kept Fulham out & preserve Arsenal 1-0 lead. Other than that there haven't been so much special performance by Arsenal goalkeeper.


I believe the reason Arsenal fans didn't satisfied with the season just because of the performance by the Arsenal players. If Arsenal played better and didn't lose as much as they lose this season, the fans will be satisfied with the season. And if only Arsenal goalkeeper didn't made a single mistake, I believe Arsenal might have win the title. And that is the main reason Arsenal fans didn't satisfied. I know I am

Arsenal Need A Good Goalkeeper Scout

The first thing Arsene Wenger should do to prepare for next season is find good goalkeeper scout. It is no doubt that Arsene have the eye for the hidden talent for the outfield player, but that is not the case for his signing on goalkeeper.
Among all his signing, only Jens Lehmann have been reliable and lead Arsenal to the unbeaten season. For the others, they just not that good to keep Arsenal winning, the fact is the have cost Arsenal a lot already. Because of this facts, I think Arsene Wenger need a help into purchasing a goalkeeper.

I'm afraid that if Arsenal don't have a good goalkeeper scout to assist Arsene, Arsenal might end up in signing another crap goalkeeper. Signing a world class is priority now, but it will be a good start if Arsenal have a good goalkeeper scout and Arsenal end up a signing a reliable goalkeeper
