How Was September Comparison Of Three Seasons

After a unexpected defeat against West Brom, Arsenal found themselves 3rd place with 11 points. The first wound always the most painful and so was the first defeat to Arsenal for the season. But it just couldn't come better than this week as both Chelsea and Man Utd lose points. How was this season September compares the last two season.

This season, Arsenal only gain 4 points out of 9 with 1 win, 1 draw and 1 lost. For previous two season, Arsenal gain 6 points out of 9 points with 2 win and 1 lost. This September, Arsenal managed to scores 7 goals but conceded 4 goals. If only Arsenal concede 1 goal less in either against Sunderland or West Brom, Arsenal should have either 5 or 6 points. For last season Arsenal also scores 7 goals and concede 4 with all 4 of them comes against Man City. 2008-2009 season is much better with Arsenal score 8 goals and concede 3 goals.

Head to head, this season is the worst. At 2008-2009 season, Arsenal won against Bolton home and West Brom home but drew with Sunderland away having 7 points out of 9. 2009-2010 season saw Arsenal won against Bolton home and lost to Sunderland away having 3 points out of 6.

After 6 games, this season Arsenal didn't do better compares to the last two season. In fact Arsenal 1 point less compares to last two season. After 6 games, this season Arsenal gets 11 points while for the previous two seasons Arsenal have 12 points.

The stats for the first 6 games. 2010-2011 season, Arsenal have 3 wins, 2 draws, 1 lost, goals for 12, goals against 7 and points 11. 2009-2010 season, Arsenal have 4 wins, 0 draw, 2 losts, goals for 18, goals against 8 and points 12. 2008-2009 season, Arsenal have 4 wins, 0 draw, 2 losts, goals for 12, goals against 4 and points 12.

After a promising starts, like always, there just nothing much different between the 3 season. Worrying as it looks, the season still have 32 games to go and Arsenal still close to Chelsea and might close the gaps if Arsenal wins at Stamford Bridges.

I'm looking forward for a win at bridges and a better October. To be a champion, we must beat the champion at their own den.

Arsenal Need To Bounce Back

Think eggs, think nightmares.

That was in my mind when Arsenal are 0-3 down. The eggs that are so hard to be broken. With more than 10 attempt at the first half but still unable to score and in fact Arsenal might have been 0-2 down. Then the similar story in the second half really didn't convince me that Arsenal can break the dead lock It just look like it was one of those days again.

Then suddenly Arsenal are 0-3 down, make me lost all hope of recovering. Until Nasri single handed try to bring Arsenal back in the game with two goals, that is when I been optimistic again. But the nightmare just wouldn't go. The egg have been broken but the nightmares remain. If only Arsenal drew that game, we wouldn't see much complain from the world of blog for a past few days.

But that is football. We will lose games, and I'm happy Arsenal lose it this weeks. Why? Because Chelsea and Man Utd also drops point and it still early in the season. It will give Arsenal more time to recover.

But there is no better way to response to such defeat but by defeat the league leader Chelsea next week. Many fans have doubt that Arsenal can win it at the Bridge. But I'm convince Arsenal will get something from that game. This defeat is an awakening to all the squad that they need to give more than 100 percent in every games.

I'm looking forward for a games at Bridge. Come on Arsenal. Give us Gooners a boost and new lease in life.

Arsenal Draw With Sunderland; A Point Gain Or Two Point Lost?

I'm very disappointed with the last minute Sunderland goal which make the tie 1-1 draw. I very far from being a happy man. I stay awake until 2.30am to watch the game and have to wake up at 4.30am to work. After sacrifice my sleeping time and get only 2 hours of sleep, I hope for a happy ending to the game. But to be fair to Sunderland, they need some praising for not stopped pressuring the Arsenal defences. Applause also given to the whole Arsenal team for able to within the pressure with 10 men until the final blow by Darren Bent.

Arsenal should have never been in front if not by the freak Fabregas goal. Arsenal just didn't click and made a good opening for the game. The goal come with a major cost. Fabregas injured because of it and set to miss out until Chelsea game and I hope he won't be called to join the Spanish squad for the national break. I cannot take any stories of BARCA DNA anymore.

The refereeing is just a joke. So inconsistent and make a lot of mistake. It not the first time I witness a poor referee performance this season. The FA should take a deep look on the refereeing quality in the league. I think Premier League have the worst referee at the major European league. Just look at Howard Webb performance at the World Cup.

Song red card is a joke. It just not warren a yellow card. There have been more unclean and hard tackle by Sunderland player but not been given a card. Melbranque should have been red carded. His first yellow card should have been given when he dive for the penalty. If it not a penalty than it is a dive and the rules said a diver will be given straight yellow card. Song second yellow card is a massive error by the referee and 4th official. It is Melbranque who run into Song. Song hardly make a block but only stand where he was. Melbranque should get a Academy Award for the acting he made at the game.

Despite being lucky for the first goal, Arsenal should have won it if Rosicky able to convert a penalty. What happen to Rosicky? He hardly scores now and the best way to break the goal draught is from a penalty spot and he still cannot do it. If only he convert it, I'll be a happy man today.

Sunderland goal should have never been a goal. Why it is so hard to blow a whistle when the injury time have ended? Why have to wait until the attacking team have lost their opportunity to blow the whistle? I wonder if it really worth a 4 minutes added time? There are hardly any injuries and unwanted incident that taken a lot of normal times.

Arsenal should have 3 points not 1 point. The referee not helping and our player mistake doesn't help also. To make me happy man again, Arsenal need to give Spurs a footballing lesson this midweek. A 3-0 win will help me feeling better.

Arsenal 4 - Bolton 1. Arsenal Win A Though Match

Arsenal resume the premier league with a home game against Bolton. The strating line up are a bit suprising but full credit to Arsene for not tempted to field all French defender. A start for 2 outstanding English lad in the shape of Gibbs and Wilshere. Now for sure the media and pundit cannot criticise Arsenal for not having an English player in the starting line up. My earlier starting line up prediction goes totally wrong and that will surely affect my fantasy team point. But I do get my score prediction right.

The game look very bright for Arsenal from the beginning. To be honest, Bolton never look like to be in the game from the beginning so I cannot understand when people said Arsenal crush 10 men Bolton when the fact Arsenal will even crush the 11 man Bolton.

Davies and Robinson are lucky to be in the pitch until the game end. Davies should have had his marching order for consecutive bookable tackle on Rosicky and Wilshere. The referee should be strong and produce two yellow card at once and send him off straight away.

I wouldn't talk about the goal. I assume most of the Arsenal fans watch the game or highlight if you missed the match. Arsenal should have won more than 4-1. Arshavin and Fabregas should have score a hat-trick. Arsenal also should have 2 penalties given for the tackling on Chamakh and Eboue. 4 goals plus 2 hat-trick from Arshavin and Fabregas and 2 penalties. Arsenal should have score 12 goals with 8 of the chances should have been converted before Cahill have sent off.

Squillaci are great. The best debut anyone can ask for. I see that all the gooners like what they see in Squillaci and some even preffere him more to Koscielny. Koscielny look very confident and that over confident also have cost Arsenal the goal.

The last thing that we like to see is another Arsenal player hobbling off the field and sidelines for weeks as a result from a bad tackle. Yet we see this sight again. The subtitute Diaby have to be subtitute for the injuries. He was replace by Denilson. I quite suprise to see Denilson. After all the rest and eating, I guess, he look bigger than last season. He even look more bigger than the referee. Hopefully he have a better strength and provide more muscle to Arsenal midfield.

The big plus of the game against Bolton is Carlos Vela. Only come out for a few minutes to replace Chamakh. he score with his first chances on goal. If Arshavin smart enough, he know his place in the starting line up in jeopardy. Vela have show he have class and what it take to be in the starting line up and now he is knocking on the door for Arsene to select him.

The best news at this weekend apart from Arsenal winning is BARCA DNA lost to HERCULES DNA at home. After the Spaniard full of BARCA DNA humiliate by Argentina the lost again the BARCA DNA player lost again to Mighty Hercules servant. And another good news, Man Utd surrender two goals lead at extra time to draw 3-3 against Everton. Spurs & Shitty draw after all the spending. I taught I heard Robben said Spurs are better than Arsenal and Adebyebye said Shitty is a bigger club than Arsenal. Whatever.... I'm just happy Arsenal win.

Next game in the Champon League, home to Braga. Next in the premier league will be away against Sunderland.

Arsenal vs Bolton: Match Preview and Team News

International break is over and looks like everybody happy to welcoming back the club football in Arsenal blogging world starting this saturday and a home game against Bolton. We have another 4 weeks to enjoy our beloved Arsenal playing before another international break and hopefully not another break out of new injury news following suit. Good news is Theo won't be fit to be feature for England at the next international game. Anyway back to Arsenal news.

For this saturday match against Bolton, I would like to welcome Koscielny and Squillaci for their home debut. Good luck for both of them. I tip they will both start. I just cannot see Djourou will be fit enough to play or I will see Arsene gamble on Djourou fitness after all the injuries he have endured.

Bolton will be a great test for our new defensive pair. Like the game against Blackburn, they will provided a major test in term of aerial bombardtment and set pieces. Long throws, corner and free kicks will test the set piece defending from Arsenal. Almunia, Kos, Squil, Diaby, Song and Chamakh will be the key man in defending the set pieces. I do see some improvement in our defending at set piece against Blackburn but I just don't want to be overconfident yet at Arsenal defending the set pieces. Almunia show a great character against Blackburn while other goalkeeper might have been fall and fragile when this sort of thing happen to them.

Apart from set pieces, Bolton will look for counter attack. That is where Arsenal main weakness is. Last season Arsenal lost a lot of games as they let in a lot of goals when the opposition counter attack. Games against chelsea and man utd is the example. With the like of Clichy and Sagna always look likely to supporting the attack when in possession, it will leave our centre backs exposed to the counter attack. The games against Blackburn is another evidence.

For Arsenal line up, I cannot see much changes. Only some cover up for the injured players otherwise we will see the same starting line up against Blackburn. Hey, I just cannot see why need to change unless to cover up some injuries. Like the saying goes, "If It Ain't Broken, While Fix It". If they can do it against Blackburn away, I believe they can do better against Bolton away.

Almunia will surely start. I will take something special for others to displace him and I didn't mean by injuries. Arsenal didn't need anymore injuries. At the defensive unit, I'm sure we will see all French defender and I'm also sure the media and pundit will take a swipe at Arsene for failing to put an English players even though we have Gibbs which they (the media and pundits and of course Harry Redknapp) feels not good enough for England starting place. But I love to watch, and probably beg Wenger,to start Gibbs against Chelsea. I would be direct head to head battle for the England number 1 and 2 left back. Sagna, Kos, Squil and Clichy will make the back four.

There is no problem at the midfield. With Walcott out, the will be the likes of Eboue, Rosicky, Nasri, Arshavin and Wilshere that can be deploy at the right hand side. Arsenal might miss the pace of Walcott at the right, a good news for the left back, but Arsenal also might need some new dimension in certain games and the cover up players all have different dimension and aspect of play in them. Anyway I would love to see Walcott vs Cashley Cole battle. At the middle I believe Song and Diaby starts with Diaby will be at his usual box to box position and Song as a cover for our centre back. Fabregas might start at his usual advance role. At the right wing I think Eboue will start and Arshavin on the left. Rosicky might have to settle another game at the bench.

Arsenal attack will be Chamakh as a lone striker. There are no choice since Arsenal are out of striker with RVP11 & NB52 are both out. Unlike last season where Arsenal have to use Eduardo and Arshavin as the lone striker, which fail big time, Chamakh provide a better cover up front and Arsenal are in better position to dealt with when RVP and NB are out.

The subs will be like this. Fabianski. Djourou, Rosicky. Wilshere, Vela, Nasri and Gibbs. Maybe Denilson will make a place at the subs if Nasri is not fit or prefered compares to Vela. Rosicky and Wilshere will be feature anyway. The third subs will be either Nasri, Vela or Djourou (if Arsenal lead by 3 or more goals).

My preferred line up and the strongest line up in my opinion will be like this.

---------------ALMUNIA---------------------

SAGNA-----KOS----SQUIL-----CLINCHY

------------SONG----------DIABY-----------
------------------FABREGAS-----------------
---EBOUE--------------------ARSHAVIN---

---------------CHAMAKH------------------

My score prediction will be 4-1 win to another Arsenal win. Arsenal might concede on the counter attack. Head to head match for me will be Koscielny and Cahill. Koscielny will have a point to prove to all the fans, pundit and media out there. They want Cahill but Arsene want Kos. Kos will have to prove at this match why Arsene prefer him.

5 Reason Why I Hate International Break

It only 3 games to the new season and already an interruption of another international break. I really hate the international break. Few reason why I hate this international break.

Reason number 1.
No Arsenal game for me to watch. I'm addicted to watch Arsenal play. Whenever Arsenal not playing I    feeling empty. It just like addicted to drug or smoking. You just cannot live with it. So am I with my addiction to Arsenal. I just cannot live with it.

Reason number 2.
For no reason whatever, it seems that whenever there is an international break Arsenal will have at least 1 injury to content with. The latest addition now is Theo Walcott. After starting the season with a big bang, he is injured while on duty for England again. Arsenal have enough injury and sure didn't need anymore addition.

Reason number 3.
Another talk of Fabregas Barca DNA. Another rumours to messing with gooners mind. The only difference now is the cunt Xavi not talking. I don't need to hear anymore that BARCA DNA. Just let the story dies. I'm almost vomit by it already. Arghhhhhh..............

Reason number 4.
Another tired players coming back from international break. With all the flying and tight schedule playing for their country, the players surely won't be fresh for the next game. I just hope it wouldn't affect them much because that is not always the case. Arsenal seems struggle whenever coming back from the international break.

Reason number 5.
Whenever the international break take place I just unable to write much about Arsenal. There nothing much to talk about. And there no game to analyse. Oh how I hate international break.

How Arsenal Doing So Far This Season Compare To Two Season Before

How are Arsenal doing this season so far? If we look at the tables we are looking good. Second at the table, with 2 wins, a draw and 7 points from 3 games. It does look like a good start. But how Arsenal doing compares to last two season?

Why I choose last 2 season? It just because for season 2008-2009, 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 we have three different sets of players playing at the centre back and forward.

For season 2008-2009, we have Toure, Gallas, Silvestre and Djourou at CB position and Van Persie, Eduardo, Adebayor and Bendtner as our forward. For the month of August, Arsenal game are against West Brom home (1-0), Fulham away (0-1) and Newcastle home (3-0). 2 wins and 1 game lost totalling 6 points. 4 goals score and 1 goal concede. How are Arsenal games result against Liverpool away and Blackburn away? That season Arsenal win 4-0 against Blackburn and draw 4-4 against Liverpool. Its 4 points from the two games.

For season 2009-2010, we have Gallas, Vermaelen and Silvestre at CB position and Van Persie, Eduardo and Bendtner as our forward. For the month of August, Arsenal games are against Everton away (6-1), Portsmouth away (4-1) and Man Utd home (1-2). Another 2 wins and a game lost totalling 6 points. Against Liverpool away Arsenal 2-1 while against Blackburn away Arsenal lose 1-2. Its only 3 points from both game.

For this season, we play Vermaelen, Koscielny and Song as our centre back and Chakmakh and Van Persie as our striker. Arsenal result so far, 1-1 draw against Liverpool away, 6-0 win against Blackpool home and 2-1 win against Blackburn away totalling 7 points with 2 wins and a draw.

So far this season Arsenal have 1 points more compares to the last two season and the most of all Arsenal haven't lost a game yet. Arsenal didn't better the result against Liverpool and Blackburn away but it is a result any team in the league willing to take from this fixtures and this including the like of Chelsea and Man Utd.

This season there is a reason to be optimistic. Arsenal are much better equip compares to last two season. You just cannot win the title if you have Silvestre as your third choice centre back. This season the centre back look a lot better.

For month of September, Arsenal will be up against Bolton home, Sunderland away and West Brom home. Season 2009-2010, it is 4-2 win against Bolton and 0-1 lost to Sunderland at the league with 2-0 win over West Brom at Carling Cup. Season 2008-2009, 1-0 win against West Brom, 1-1 draw against Sunderland and 1-0 win against Bolton. For this coming match, I'm looking for a 3 wins and I hope a clean sheet for all 3 games. Almunia and the defender really need that and Arsenal really need all the 9 points to give a serious challenge for the title.

How Can arsenal Win title With Defenders And Goalkeepers Like This

First of all I would like to say if you are here to read about taking a swipe at Arsene Wenger current squad and criticise him on that, I seek for an apology for disappointing you. I'm talking about the last double Arsenal have won at season 2001-2002.

Many fans have question about Arsene Wenger ambition of winning anything since the lack of activities in the transfer window. A many have think this current defender is not good enough especially at the center back department. But before we make judgement of the players before the end of the season, better we look back at the previous title winning squad. Who was playing back then and is this players are a world class players that winning the double for Arsenal back then.

First we look at the goalkeepers that was used that season. We have David Seaman, Richard Wright and Stuart Taylor. Seaman is world class and the number one goalkeeper that season. But Arsenal didn't win just because of David Seaman. Seaman didn't play all of the league game that season. Arsenal have depend on the like of Wright and Taylor, yes this is the Stuart Taylor of Man city now. I just wonder how can Arsenal won a league when they have an average goalkeeper playing for them. And Arsenal go to FA cup final with Wright and Taylor between the sticks. I think Almunia and Fabianski is better than both of them. So I cannot see why we need a world class goalkeeper to win a title and cup. This squad have shown it. An average goalkeeper winning the double for Arsenal.

Now we look at the defender that season. We have Adams, Keown, Campbell, Dixon, Cole, Luzhny, Grimandi, Upson, Stepanovs and Lauren. The right back have no problem with Dixon and Lauren. At center back, Adams, Keown and Campbell are world class. But the likes of Grimandi, Upson and Stepanovs? There are below average defender. Upson is promising but still slightly below average. With 26 starts and 20 subs appearance between them, they do really contribute to Arsenal success. I'm feel sorry for stephanovs for didn't get the medal for only play six games (where he all starts). And we also have Luzhny playing both right and left back have 18 starts and 3 subs for both league and FA cup. Arsenal didn't rely on the world class defender that time and they still win the double. This squad have shown again that Arsenal didn't need a world class defender to win the double.

When we look at the current squad, they are much better compares to the double winning squad and some fans still thinks this squad don't have enough quality. If Arsenal can win the double with Wright and Taylor between the sticks, Arsenal can also win the title with Almunia, Fabianski, Mannonne and Szecshny. If Arsenal can win the double with Luzhny, Upson, Stepanovs and Grimandi, Arsenal also can win the the title with Vermaelen, Koscielny, Squillaci, Djourou and Norveit.

The point here is, no matter how many world class players the team have the success is not guaranteed. Just ask Man City. A team can win the title with slightly above average players playing the most part of the season. That is what Arsenal do best.

Keep the faith Gooners.
