The Players That Arsenal Should Offload This Summer
As usual whenever the close season approach, the news of who should stay, who should go and who should Arsenal sign taking over the headline.
After a dissapointing season, there are a few players that the fans feel should go for good as they just not contribute enough to the team. So who should go then? Here are my list.
Almunia
He just not good enough. I prefer to see Lehmann at the goal than him.
Sagna & Clichy
They good going forward only. But their cross just terrible. Defensively they are not that great either. It shows as many goals are come from them. I like to see a more solid fullback.
Denilson & Diaby
Whenever they play I just cannot understand what are they doing. Having them playing just like a handicap. No wonder Arsenal never win when both of them play together.
Arshavin
Don't get me wrong. I like him but if Arsenal can get some money for him, the why not.
Bendtner
I like him and he does give something different to the side. But with his constant whinning, I prefer him to go than having an unsettled players.
Here are my list and I really hope them go. I just cannot take anymore dissappointing season.

Dude, sagna and arshavin should NOT go... Andrey shows game changing brilliance when he wants to and Sagna is the best left back in the league...

ReplyDeleteAgree that Clichy needs to go; he has not come back from injury the same player and is routinely beat around the outside when defending. Sagna is respectable defending and goes forward well...but needs to be discouraged from putting in those predictable crosses that are routinely headed away. You are wrong about Diaby. Technically he's briliant and deceptively strong on the ball when the desire is there. Biggest issue is that he has become tentative offensively due to Wenger having instructed him to defer to others rather than attack. Arsene needs to take the handcuffs off and encourage Diaby to go forward!. He is clever when offensively minded, has great moves despite his leggy appearance, and possesses a rocket of a shot. Here's a shocker: sell Fabregas who, objectively speaking, was a huge disappointment this year! Ineffective on attack and worst of all, he constantly gave the ball back to the opposition...a shadow of his former self. Buy a one of two strong centre backs who can play with the money reaped from a sale of Cesc. Finally, Arsene needs to sit down with Arshavin and either find a way to re-invigorate his enthusiasm for the game or send him on his way. And finally, hire Phil Jackson to teach those players who stay what the concept of motivation really means.
ReplyDeleteI think I made it clear that I like Arshavin. It just that if Arsenal can get another 15M from him, why not rather than losing him for free.
ReplyDeleteSagna is good but he can do better. He just didn't progress much. I like him better when he first join Arsenal.
Diaby have class but inconsistent. He need somebody to cover him. Partner with Denilson, he just didn't show his real ability.
Sell Cesc? I know many of us want that. But if Arsene sell him, people will keep saying Arsenal are Barca b**ch.
