It’s Painful But It’s Not Over Yet

Another “Loser Medal” is not I expect for yesterday finals. As I struggle to keep my eyes open at midnight, I expect my sacrifice for not sleeping being rewarded. But in the end, like all the Gunners out there, I left disappointed.

Coming to this game, the spirit are high and it all can be seen throughout the Arsenal blogging world. Arsenal are favourite to win this Final after defeating Birmingham on two occasion. The sign is just not good before the final. The form has not been convincing. The injuries are keep piling up. Injuries to Cesc and Theo really come at the bad time. With the coming 3 more important games in term of stature, it is understandable Wenger don’t want to risk Cesc.

The game are lost by misunderstanding between two of Arsenal revelation this year, Kos & Szcezshny. I just didn’t expect Arsenal will lose by easy goal like that. I just hope both of them can pick themselves up after this game. I didn’t expect Wenger to drop Szezschny after this after all Almunia have make the more horrendous error.

This game is gone. And maybe it come at the right time. And if they react well to this defeat, which I think they will, Arsenal will pick themselves up and come to the next matches with vengeance. Let make this defeat a stepping stone to other success.

The lads need to keep on going. And if there is any matches that Arsenal need to lose, I’m happy Arsenal losing this one rather than the other games in the future which is more crucial. And I know Arsene think like that by not allowing Cesc to play.

As I previous post, The Season Has Just Begun. The first journey always the painful one but when it is completed it will be the sweet success. Go on Gunners. Keep on believing.

Arsenal Season Have Just Begun

It might be strange for some when I said that Arsenal season has just begun at this time of the season. Arsenal season have been like a roller coaster ride at the moment. Can be very dominant side this week and the next week become a very average side and a very poor side the following week. Nobody can predict which side of Arsenal will comes out.

After an unconvincing display against Ipswich in the first leg, the second leg show a different Arsenal side which mean business. And now Arsenal are in the Carling Cup final against Birmingham City at Wembley.

Winning the cup will boost the team confidence to sky high. But losing the final, might have cause the team confidence hits rock bottom.

I still remember a season before the invincible, Arsenal were 12 points clear of ManU and after a succession of bad result saw Arsenal surrender the title to ManU. I also remember at one season which I cannot remember Arsenal are in course of 3 cup, the Premiership, FA Cup and Champions League only to see them crumble to the pressure and lose it all in matter of two weeks. Those twist and turn have been very painful and even a radio DJ dedicate the song Cry Me A River from Justine Timberlake to all Arsenal fans.

This season will be no different. The injuries start piling up and some fitness concern for a few players. Some players just didn’t have a good form lately and it might be costly.

The journey of Arsenal success this season starts now. Arsenal need to be in their best shape all the times no matter who they meet and which players start. Arsenal need to focus and keep on winning if Arsenal doesn’t want to cry another river again.

Jack Wilshere Shows He Is There With The Best

February have been a great month for our 19 year old prodigy in form of Jack Wilshere. A first start for England, a great game against Wolves and a impressive performance against Barcelona have earn him praise all over the media. And I will be surprise if he didn't win the young player of the year award.

Looking at his performances this season, maybe some of us Gooners ask ourself why didn't Arsene use him last year when Arsenal are depleted in the midfield area. But maybe the loan spell to Bolton have made him a better player.

Everybody knows how good he is and many consider him the best young English midfield. But like usual there are always people try to put Arsenal down and question the ability of Wilshere if play among and against the best midfield around. Some even question of him maturity of the aspect to the game.

And there is no better way to answer the critic about his ability by playing among the best. And it doesn't come much better than a game against Barcelona. In the midfield there are 3 Euro and World Cup winners in the shape of Cesc, Xavi and Iniesta. I didn't surprise if some party think he will not shine in the game when there is 3 Euro and World Cup winners. But like always, Wilshere just never fail to amaze us. His performance are top class. Throughout the game he have overshadow the like of Xavi an Iniesta and didn't give them much room to operate.

The performances against Barcelona have show he is there among the best. If he can stands out in the game, who know how good will he be in the future. With Aaron Ramsey on his way to recoveries, Arsenal midfield future look very bright with or without Cesc Fabregas.

No Matter How Hard They Pull Us Down, We Still Climbing Up

The last two games have been an absolute comic performance by the referee. A game against Everton and Newcastle have shown us how poor referee in EPL is. If this is what the future of refereeing in England will be, it is an alarming sign and the FA must come with some solution sooner or later before it is too late.

A game against Everton show a poor judgement of the offside rules which give the Everton a leading goal. After a replay, the referee still insist that it was a goal. Who says that video replay will improve refereeing in the game. This game is the evidence.

The game against Newcastle, the referee against become the centre figure here. Joey Barton keep on fouling the Arsenal players. And the turning point of the game, Joey Barton tackle on Diaby which lead to Diaby sent off. The reff get it right by sending off Diaby. But, if only he give the foul and red card to Joey Barton on that challenge, then Diaby wouldn't get sent off for his reaction. That tackle is a straight red reff. If I was Diaby, I would get even like that. I will give Barton a Ryan Shawcross and Martin Taylor style tackle and break his leg.

Then the penalty and free kick which lead to the 3rd and 4th goal. It wasn't even a foul. The Newcastle players make the most of it. Just because of that, it make Rosicky have concede 2 goals and cost Arsenal 2 points. And to add slat to the wounds, Joey Barton have 2 goals in his names. What a rubbish decision.

And I also wonder how on earth Joey Barton and Nolan can still be on the pitch at the final whistle. This two have make Newcastle like Sam Allardyce team and not Alan Pardew. After all the respect I have for Newcastle this season, this game have make me think otherwise. They are just another English team try to kick the foreigner in Red and White jersey of Arsenal.

This two games show us how biased the refferee have been towards Arsenal. They look like they try to pull us down so that ManU can win this season title. But guess what, they have failed. The Everton game, Arsenal came as the winner. Eventhough it is a draw against Newcastle, ManU and Chelski have lost that make Arsenal closing on the gap.

Now we inching closer to the submit. 4 points trailing but with 13 games to go, to go top by the end of the season still a realistic target for the gooners.

Maybe 4 Eyes Alien Makes Better Lines Man

Arsenal have a good win over Everton tonight after being down by Louis Saha offside goals. It was a frustrating first half for Arsenal.

Everton goals have been a clearly offside. And I don't know from which rule book the lines man said the goal was valid. And what make it sad, there have been a replay on the big screen and it clearly shown that it was offside. The reff should admit his mistake and disallowed the goal. That if the reff have the guts to do so which clearly he don't have any.

And for what have been comment by Andy Gray and Richard Key about woman linesman, the linesman and referree really didn't justified themselves. There have been replay and why on earth the ref still allow the goals. And people said there should be a video technologies to help the referee, but tonight game show that the reff are too arrogant to reverse his decision.

So if woman don't know the offside rules but still do the better job from the man who we assume to know more about the rules, where the referee quality in England will lead to. It is an alarming fact that the quality of the referee have been deteriorate as years goes by. And maybe a 4 eyes alien will have to be a lines man with more intellectual in their game compares to human being.

For what have happen tonight, I hope the FA or FIFA will look at the refereeing quality because last night performances are very poor indeed.
